Searching the DNASU plasmid repository database

Please log in before searching for plasmids, as this will allow you to see all plasmids available to you.

Search Name Search Input
Search by gene First select the species of interest and then search by gene symbol, Genbank Accession number or Gene ID
Search by vector Selecting the desired properties of the vector from a list such which includes:
  1. the cloning method used (e.g., Gateway®)
  2. a particular expression system (e.g., mammalian expression)
  3. and vector features (e.g., fluorescent marker)
Search by clone identifier Use identifies such as the DNASU ID, FLH#, TargetDB ID, Original Clone ID or other ID
Advanced search Combined query using keywords, gene symbol/name, vector name, species, author name and/or publication information
PSI-MR Search Searches using the Advanced Search with the additional search options of:
  • plasmids with inserts that have been documented to (1) produce protein, (2) produce soluble protein, (3) produce purified protein
  • inserts with a solved protein structure (by searching using PDB ID)
  • specific targets, using the TargetDB ID
  • by PSI Center
